Russian President Vladimir Putin, Iranian President Ahmadinejad, and the Turkish PM Tayip Erdogan met in Istanbul in a security summit to discuss problems facing the Middle Eastern region as well as pressing issues that will affect the security of the entire world.

Recent events in the Middle East have caused Russian PM Putin to condemn Israel, the Turkish PM Erdogan to call for Israel to pay the price for defending itself against terrorist attacks, and the Iranian President Ahmadinejad to say that Israel is near the point of their total annihilation.

Acceptable Conduct in The Days Of Lot

Remember Lot?

Lot lived in Sodom, which is, of course, the city whose name serves as the root of the word sodomy, which is defined as: Any of various forms of sexual intercourse held to be unnatural or abnormal.

In the story of Sodom, as told in Genesis 19, homosexuality was boldly ‘out of the closet’ and rampant as evidenced by the men of Sodom trying to force their way into Lot’s house that they might “know“, in the biblical sense, two male angels who had come to visit him. We find that the wicked men of Sodom were pressing against Lot’s door so powerfully that the angels were forced to strike them with blindness, this apparently being the only way to prevent the men from “knowing” them wickedly, as in sodomizing them.
