The church world has forgot that the Royal Road to the Holy City is strait and narrow. There is a multitude of religious people that go to church, talk religion and even read the Bible but they have never been totally transformed by being “Born Again.” It is easy to be religious but never become an “On Fire Christian.” Jesus Christ was so concerned about this truth that He often warned His disciples. Listen to the Son of God say it straight so that no one would have an excuse.
“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” (Matthew 7: 13-14)
While Apostle Paul wrote powerfully about the “Grace of God” and freedom from the “Law of Bondage,” Apostle James wrote about the New Life and the “Law of Liberty.” The church is not a “Lawless Institution,” but a divine company of saints delivered from bondage. We are free, but not free to do as we please but free to do as we should. The power of sin is broken and we can enjoy the: “Law of Liberty.” It is wonderful to be delivered from bondage to sin and the law of bondage and to be free to live in righteousness and holiness.
